tdc help plz!?!

One of the cylinders wasn't firing so I pulled the spark plug and had coolant on it... i began pull the head, set it to TDC, had all the lines lined up nd pulled the head.
i took the head to a machine shop nd had em resurface it but he turned the shaft to bypass the valves.
how to i assure timing is perfect again before i put it all together? its not as simple as lining up the tdc lines is it?

Make sure the crank is at TDC. Then turn the cam until the sprocket and head marks line up. Then install the head and put the timing belt on.
