T-belt question

guys, while doing the t belt when i put the vibration dampener back on, the tdc mark on the dampener does not line up with the mark on the lower cover. the cover mark does however line up with the mark on the crank. the dampener is on with the dimple in the set whole. i'm afraid to go any further.

will do tomorrow. again, there's 3 marks in the crank area, on the crank, on the dampener, and on the lower cover. the one on the cover lines up with the one on the crank but the dampener when installed does not.

what you can do is put the belt on and have it tensioned properly and have it all lined up as much as possible, then get a socket on the crank and move it very little one way or another and see if the harmonic balancer mark moves a little without the top mark moving, i noticed mine had just a little bit of play which scared me at first but wasnt more of a tooth in play, idk if its bad but ive been running it like this for a while and its all good.
