    m20 2.7i turbo build

first post , recently i take a 325i 86(metal bumper) in good shape , im planning to turbo it my plans are build a stroker 2.7i but my questions are.

    - the head and block are the same in early models?

--what stroker kit will be better for f/i?

    A.m20b25 block,eta cranck, eta rods,eta pistons , with i head(shaved or not)

    B. m20b25 block,eta cranck,eta rods, late model m20b25 pistons, i head

---finally, i think my car has the motronic 1.0 vs 1.3 in late models, what changes i need to make to install megasquirt, and what mgs version will be better in my case,

Most are running the eta block with the 885 head, I am not a fan of shaving any close contact style setups. Now if you just need to have a smidge took off for a nice flat surface, which I call surfacing the head. Than that's cool, but mic it first anyways or plastigage it.

              Nope, chipped 1.3.

              1.0 would not be ideal.

purchase 1.3 harness, install it, purchase pnp MS for 1.3 harness. No need to use 1.0 harness. It is not out of the box compatible with 1.0 harness anyways. <- regarding your first post, OP
