Deves piston rings, what's up with these

trying to install the pistons rings for my rebuild and ran into a little problem when I pulled out the new rings, here are some pics. They are different then the oem oil rings and the oil rings don't seem to fit...are these the wrong rings, or am i doing something wrong? The rails on the oil ring seem not sit right on the piston, they slide over the whole piston without having to expand them at all. Could this become a problem, or will it all work out when they are compressed

    car is 1989 325i m20b25

those work as they are. im running them in my blue car right now.

first the one with holes in it. then the thin one, then the wavy one then another thin one.
you need a ring compressor to see it complete
