    Rough idle and running rich

So I took a long drive. 200+ miles. And when I returned my car would not idle or run well at all. I have replaced my ICV, checked AFM, cleaned TB, new plugs, wires, cap rotor, new O2 sensor, and cleaned the TPS (not sure if it's good I don't have an multi meter). I have run out of ideas now. It still runs rich. Rough idle and also has surging power and its sluggish under 3k. Sounds like it's miss firing but not sure. Throws a 1221 code with a stomp test. Could it be something gas related? Sorry if I haven't found this on the forums yet. I never found an answer for this exact problem. Thanks for any help in advance. You guys rock!!

Since you changed your O2 already and still got the code 1221, the next step is to perform a smoke test. Your air/fuel ratio is not correct.

While vac leaks will usually make the car run lean, it's always a good place to start with surging idle. The rest of your symptoms to me just point to rich. Check your coolant temp sensor is within spec(so buy yourself a multimeter). It's a cheap part, and if the ECU thinks the motor is cold it will add a noticeable amount of fuel. Also verify your fuel pressure is the normal ~45psi
