    325i rad into Eta?

Hey guys as the title says... can a 325i rad be used in an Eta? Have the possibility of picking up a free "i" rad.

I know the i rad has the extra sensors, etc, but I thought I read somewhere that outside of the sensors, the rads are identical and that if those sensor holes are closed up that it could be used in an Eta.

Unless I'm totally wrong. Am I?

The issue isn't so much I vs e radiator as it is early vs late cooling system. 88+ use a dual outlet water pump and crossover pipe that puts the coolant hoses in different positions for the radiator.

If the radiator is out of am 87 325i, it should fit.

You'll need a late model water pump and some coolant hoses and the coolant bottle also make the auxiliary fan switch wire longer because early model have it on the left side and late models have it on the right side
