Oil Level Sensor Block Off Plates?

Does anyone make a block off plates for the oil level sensor? This is for the SpecE30 not my car, so there is no check panel in the car, and therefore, no use for the sensor unit.

If nobody makes them, is there any interest in having them made?

No need to go to that trouble, BMW made one for other M20 models, the part number is 11132240942, cost $ 4.27 from Husker BMW

Are you just looking for the added oil space? You could just take a hacksaw/cutoff wheel to the level sensor portion and leave the cap.

Not as pretty as the cap, though. :)

The problem with that is the sensors been chucked since the motor was pulled from the car lol. We just need a block off plate.

Edit: thanks @cdeason for the part number, got it cleared up. $5.75 from Pelican (we are putting in a big order soon anyways). This is the final push to finish the SpecE30, plan is to have her finished by March 25th to make the race at COTA in Austin. Wish us Godspeed and all the luck in the world

Glad to help, one thing you learn as a E30 M3 owner is to navigate the ETK,

Thanks for posting, I never knew about this. I just put a sensor in mine and cut the wires off.
