Attempting to Identify Parts in Engine Bay

I am attempting to identify some parts in the engine bay (M20B27) in my 1987 325e:

    1) Bracket breather pipe or breather pipe bracket (16131177583): I believe that I have located the correct hose (17121119294). The original hose does not look like the hose in the diagram, and I cannot find the aforementioned bracket anywhere.

This is the hose that came off the car. It is badly cracked. The book and bottle cap are for reference.

The hose was attached to the darkened outlet at the top of the expansion tank.

    2) This one I can only show in photos. I do not know what parts these attach to:

    a) What attaches to the socket just to the left of the red dipstick handle? b) What attaches to the orange piece to the lower left of the red dipstick handle? There is also a black connector just below the suction silencer (?).

Appreciate whatever help anyone is able to spare.

    1) not sure what the problem is lol that hose just connects and hangs into the hole in the body beneith it.

    2) the connector next to your dipstick is for the fancy BMW oil/inspection light reset tool, not sure but i think based on the software you can pull codes if you have the right stuff.
Not sure what that other thing is... maybe it's an E only thing. idk. also what do you mean by suction silencer?

2)Sensor is for the cold start injector. Takes the air temperature before the filter. So it is only for 2.7 eta cars.

And the sensor is just missing the cap. I didn't have a cap for awhile because my clip broke. Eventually I was able to find one and zip tied it on.

part on the Airbox (suction silencer as you call it ) is the baro sensor for altitude correction of the FI system ( the cover for it is missing ) you can see the exposed pressure unit (circular brass diaphram) and measuring rod

there is usually a bright red cover on the previously identified diagnostic connector to keep dirt out .

codyep3 , the sensor for the cold start valve is in the cooling system (near T-stat housing) and looks just like the FI coolant temp sensor, just a different color one is blue one is brown
