    Another No Start Thread

OK so I went to replace my coolant temp sensor and when I went to start it the plastic cover for the CPS came loose and the wire got cut. So I ordered a new CPS, installed and no start. So I smelt gas and pulled plugs, all of them were covered in gas. So I cleaned them and tried again.. nothing. I pulled each plug and cranked over to see if it had spark and it did. What else should I check the car was running fine besides high idle due to bad coolant temp sensor before I went to replace it... I also had the car connected to jumper cables and another car running while I tired to start it. And did a smoke test last week before narrowing the high idle down to coolant temp sensor. Car is a 91 325i

When you were trying to jump it, did you definitely have the jumper cables hooked up right? Negative cable is red on E30s so its easy to screw up if your first time and you rush. Guess how I learned that. (Luckily didn't damage anything)
