    wire plug on top oil pan disintegrated. help

    Can some one please tell me what this plug is suppose to be it fell apart in my hands tonight. Trying to get this thing back on the road.

    Its the plug that connects to the top of the oil pan. Next to the chassis ground.

      Here's a DIY on how to fix it.



      Your chassis ground look pretty beat as well, consider replacing it also.

        That won't stop your car from running. It will likely illuminate (or not) the check light.
