    horrible noises

I have been getting this rattling sound for the last 100 miles and it has recently gotten a lot worse. The noise is coming from around the distributer cap area but I don't feel any vibrations on the cap itself and i feel like the noise is to quick and random to be the rotor cap. it will also stops making the noise randomly

any ideas?. Maybe something rubbing against my timing belt, but why does it just stop, the last thing I did to my car was reinstall the engine hook that goes between the cover and the top end.

Hmmm, you may want to take a look in there. I didn't have that noise but had this, which could have turned out very badly....

sounds like a timing belt tension is shot or the bearings in your water pump.
either way. do a waterpump/timing belt job ASAP!!!!! dont wait!

Just go buy a plastic tub for $5 and fill that bitch up. Coolant is easier to clean up than oil ;D
