Is the brake booster vacuum hose supposed to be loose like this?

I took a video to illustrate.

Mine does the same. I can rotate the hose 90 degrees. Particularly useful when removing the throttle body or working on the intake. My brakes work fine so...

you can tighten those clamps with pliers... i did, made it harder to twist, but i can't say whether or not it made any difference because i also fixed a couple other vac leaks too. it's amazing what a little teeny leak can do to this engine

Okay, thanks guys. It felt like it was supposed to have a bit of play in it. I just wanted to check and see since chasing vacuum issues can be such a pain in the ass. I'd like to try and eliminate everything else before smoking the intake system. Right now I'm going to JB weld in the metal elbows into the intake manifold since they were loose and my highest likelyhood point of failure.
