    Help with engine start up

So the car was running fine and this morning I even move it in the garage so I can work on the fog lights.
When I was working on the fog lights I had my key turn to the 'standby' position. It was there for about 15 ~ 20 mins.
Now the car will not start - The starter and distributors are working and engine cranks but it just won't start. However, fuel pump is working and I smell fuel.
I am thinking could it be that when I put my key in the 'standby' the fuel pump is somehow pumping some gas to the engine and that caused 'flood' in my engine?
If yes, what should I do? and if not, what should I do to start the diagnostic? Thanks!

After letting it sit for an hour the car fires up ok now, so I think the engine was flooded. Now why would putting my car in standby causing it to flood? Is my injectors leaking (I have 19lb injectors installed)?
