I think it's supposed to be a 15A fuse according to the diagram.

84-87 is 15 amp 88-90 is 7.5, according to Bentley manual.

Btw thanks for the help so far RoDo, I greatly appreciate it.

would it be safe to run a jumper wire on fuse 11 and drive the vehicle? im assuming ive got a short somewhere, ive got a broad idea on electrical systems, but luckily got an electrician at work who could probably diagnose the issue within minutes. I've got a 10 minute drive to work, would it be alright to due without causing further damage?

No problem - sorry about the wrong fuse info. As far as jumpering and driving I can't say. Given that it seems to be a short in electrical to the fuel pump that would freak me out (fuel + electrical and all).

My sisters car would pop fuse 11 every once in a while and leave her stranded until I could get there just to change a fuse. I told her how to change fuses so I would not have come to the rescue anymore for something so simple. One day she calls me saying that fuse 11 was popping and it was even popping the 30 amp fuses . I get there and I see a pile of some dam blown 30 amp fuses sitting on the ground next to her front left tire. I yelled at her pretty good about using a larger fuse than what is recomended. Between her car not running and me yelling at her, she busted into tears and I instantly felt like an asshole ...But I know how much she loves her car and all the blood sweat and tears I have put into it because she enjoys her car so much.

Sorry for the long story but the point is I would not use a higher rated fuse or jumper wire. Doing these things can burn or melt your harness. Even worst would be catching your car on fire.

Fuse 11 only powers the fuel pumps and the wire runs from the fusebox and down the diverside along the floor to the fuel pump(s). The short in my sisters car was in the intank fuel pump. The PO put seafoam or something in the tank and left sitting in there forever. That crap ate through the insulation on the fuel pumps wiring and was shorting out inside the fuel tank. Also I would burn that tank of gas quick. The seafoam or what ever it was made every gas line soft and the lines would blow up a size of a balloon then burst. Holding a ballooning gas line over the starter while tap dancing, pissing on myself, and yelling at my sister to shut off the car was not fun.lol.

              good luck,Rob
