    Brake booster vacuum hose

My brake booster vacuum hose is in pretty rough shape. Can I just get a regular vacuum hose from NAPA or Autozone or do I need the real one? It looks like the original one may have some kind of extra reinforcing.
The thing is that I did some research on it and it looks like the 318's have a special right angle one that you need to get so it won't kink. However, the P/N for the one for 325's is just a straight piece of hose, even though it does actually need to make a right angle.
Anyone put a regular auto store vacuum hose your 325/i/is booster?

    Thanks

You should DEFINITELY be using hose specifically designed for brake booster use. It does not need to be OEM BMW though. Just re-use your original fittings and check valve with the new hose if they're in good condition.

Thanks for the info. That autohausaz price is not bad at all!

Yeah I guess if it fails and kinks then you lose your brake assist, not a good situation if you're not expecting it.
