Background:
87 325ic that I recently dropped a new m20 into from donor car. (87 325i sedan)
Problem:
Cannot get Injectors to fire
Facts:
I believe it has to do with only 6 of 7 wires being connected between the engine harness and injector harness. Compared to an 88 IX i see 7 and 7 but I don't know if this has to do with late model.
I'm guessing this is why it isn't possible to fire injectors by grounding out from DME but then again, because there are two bays, there are probably two separate grounds running to the injectors no? Any help is much appreciated.
