Hi all, i have recently encounter the issue of bad start on my 88'vert 325i. it would crank (strong crank in fact) but it would take a good 5-7 sec before it starts. then it would sound like it would choke (engine hesitation/knocks) for like a good 20 sec range and about to stall and i would need to give it some gas to keep it "alive". if i give some gas (after i just started the car) the rpm would go up(as expected) but then drop below normal idle rpm and appear to "want" to stall(hesitation/rough). but after a few minute it's fine and idles smooth again. i have read a few forums and i am suspecting its the fuel pump. i have a 4 month old battery and i "dont' assume" its dead already...cranking sounded strong(dont think it's the starter?) any input would help.

Start with what you see in http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...5&postcount=12The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
