Dear 30-30-somethings,
I have a bad connection, so far as I can tell, running from my low-speed fan wire to the low-speed fan relay on the board...or maybe a bad diode that runs from there to the A/C sparky bits. (No continuity from low/speed switch wire on radiator to 86 on the low speed relay connection)
Has anyone taken the fuse box apart? It seems rather daunting, but it drives me crazy that the fan doesn't ever kick on. The e30 electrical troubleshooting manual doesn't seem to tell you much other than there are various connections on the back side of the board. Or maybe it just looks like it would be a huge pain in the ass, but it's not so bad? Is there a good DIY or something somewhere?
Thanks,
J.
