I have a 325e from 1985 and an engine from a 320i from 1984. Is it possible to convert the 325e to a 2.7i with the parts from the 320i engine? Will it have significant increased power?

I've read topics about the subject but they all use parts of a 2.5i. I only want to use parts from the 320i engine I already have.
Correct me if I'm wrong but so far I understand i can use the 731 head + intake manifold of the 320i. Are there other parts I can use?Comment
