Last night I parked my daily driver '91 iX in the driveway with no suggestion of a problem. Today, it remains stuck in the driveway, unable to start. It cranks normally, starts normally, but after about a second it stops running. It doesn't sputter to a stop, it stops abruptly as if I had shut off the key.
It was about 0 degrees F this morning, but I'm not sure if that has anything to so with it, because it was pretty cold yesterday too, and the car started and ran fine.
I've tested the fuel pump, and that's working. I didn't test the fuel pump relay, but I swapped it with the O2 sensor heater relay that's next to it, and the symptoms did not change. I'm getting spark, because it runs for a second before shutting off.
What are the likely candidates? Fuel pressure regulator? Something else?
