O2 Sensor
Hello everyone, I have a 1987 e30 325 2.7L. I recently purchased a new O2 sensor because of an engine code I received. I removed the old O2 near the manifold and I come to find out that there is not plug for the new O2 sensor to connect to, its just 4 wires that were not even soldered to the old O2 sensor. They were just twisted and taped. I am not sure who did this job but it looks like a mess. I don't know if I should cut the connection plug part off the new O2 to expose the 4 wires then soldering them to the exposed wires from the car or if I should search for the connection online for the new O2 to plug into. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks guys.
