Suggestions or input for my next venture?

It was nice today, so I decided to drive my cabby back to work after lunch. I got to work and decided to check under the hood real quick and when I took off the oil cap, the whole underside was white. I'm going to guess head gasket. I still need to drive it home and then to the shop later so I can start stripping it down, but if the whole underside of the cap was milky, that's some serious coolant leakage(before today, there was never any milk). First of all, will it do any damage to do those two mile-or-so trips as long as I'm easy on it? Second, any suggestions on what I should do? I could just fix it, but I'd still be stuck with the stock M20. I could start a rebuild, but I'm a single father working as a bank teller, so it'd take a long time for money and time. And I'd also be stuck with a stock M20 as well, just fresher. I could swap to another engine, but again, money. I refuse to get rid of this car because I love this car, even with everything that is wrong with it. Plus, this is the way I can shove it in my baby mamma's face that the "piece of shit car" she always hated is still running. So, any suggestions, fellas? Also, should I go ahead and put new oil through it pretty soon once I get it into the garage? Just so there's not as much coolant sitting in the oil?

False alarm, guys. My father informed me that it's condensation from the weather changes we've had. Scared the shit out of me, though... Did my warm weather oil change and all is good and water-free!

Yeah, the hose off the back side of the valve cover can hold a lot of condensation gunk too. A little project is to remove, inspect, and clean or replace that hose.

Yeah, I actually recently changed that and it was pretty much clean, just cracked up. I've got an intake gasket leak, so I assume that's where the issue lies.
