o2 Sensor wire gone and accel hesitation

Hey all, long time lurker and new e30 owner as of 2 months ago. Ive already taken care of some maintenance items so I can drive the car worry free(ish).

I recently replaced the intake boot and some other vacuum hoses trying to eliminate a vacuum leak some where. This definitely helped remove some of the hesitation that I was feeling between 1500-2000rpms.

The car still seems to hesitate in that rpm range. When I bought the car I simply overlooked the o2 sensor and then looking for remedies for the possible hesitation issue, I found the o2 sensor wires cut, and tucked in/hiding! The clip that it would connect to under the battery tray is gone and i see no other wires leading to the DME (other than the main leading to the harness).

I would like to get the o2 sensor hooked up properly, but I can't find how the o2 sensor should be hooked up. I have some other suspect looking wires coming from the main harness. One of them is running into fuse relay #9?!?

    Thank you for the help

4 wire o2 sensor? White to white, white to white (IIRC it doesn't matter which, they are both heater wires). Then Grey to grey, and black to black. I crimped mine together and heat shrinked them because the o2 on my old car was never going to come out so we cut the wires off it. Seems like it works!

For that hesitation, you might have a worn carbon track in your afm
