Hey guys i need some gurus to help troubleshoot my M20B25 no start issue.

Car is an '89 325i. Just replaced the engine harness with another from an '89 325i. Did a pinout test and everything checked out as per the Bentley Bible guidelines.

Car cranks endlessly but never fires. Ignition system checked out, fuel pump/filter/hoses/regulator OK, fuel rail and injectors OK. 173 ECU is OK. Compression is ~140psi give or take across the engine. Had a buddy do a leak down test while i was gone and he said it was good. I wasn't there to see it so i can't say with certainty what his readings were.

I'm not the best mechanic but i feel like ive done about everything i can. Any suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! i need to leave town in a few days so time is of the essence.
