Ok guys I need some expert opinion after seeing the Kamotors e30 on the /drive network I really want to get an e30 and get his turbo kit. Im just wondering how hard this is, is it really just bolt on, tune, and go? Also how much should I estimate spending to get a working turbo e30? I figure I can get a running car pretty cheap

I have Kamotors turbo kit the internally gated 20g turbo kit.
Currently getting it tuned at a local performance shop.
For me it has not been cheap, but I also had Bimmerheads build me a turbo ready engine. I stopped keeping track of the money around $$8500 lol.
But like BMWManiac said there are WAY to many variables.
Kamotors kit was pretty complete, I suggest getting a better intercooler than he provides it's pretty cheap and the welds were horrible. Expect to be at the auto parts store and hardware store a lot getting little bits here and there.....and there again.
