    Coolant hose kit

Where do I get a kit from? I searched previous threads but saw no "actual" coolant kits. OEM? IE?
Any recommendations? My e30 is a daily and is due before this heat starts in vegas.

    Thanks!

Anybody has experience with these kits? Do I need to re-tighten/ is there a "break in" period?
Also, do they require special hose clamps?

There is no break in period. Regular hose clamps work fine.

you want the kind with indented edges not the flat stamped kind, those will dig into the rubber.

Those hose kits don't have all the hoses, particularly the ones that go to the throttle body and the bypass hoses for the auxiliary heater thermostat. You need to sit down with RealOEM open next to your engine bay and start making part number lists.

Those are coolant hoses. Others are called water hoses. Yes, go to realoem to get all the hoses. If you are lazy, just call Blunttech and they'll get you all the correct hoses.

I just picked up all the hoses from pelican parts individually and it ran me $106.25 all together:

                    Radiator Hose (Upper) - 319-115-3142 - Meyle - $9.75
Water Hose: thermostat housing to water pipe - 319-115-3183 - Meyle - $5.25
                    Water Hose: from throttle housing - 13-54-1-719-967 - URO - $10
Water Hose: expansion tank to thermostat housing to heater outlet - 11-53-1-722-743 - URO - $40
Water Hose: water pump to thermostat housing - 11-53-1-287-651 - Meyle - $11.25
                    Heater Hose: Cyl Head to heater valve/inlet - 64-21-1-380-527 - Rein - $6.75
Water Hose: Thermostat housing to throttle housing - 13-54-1-719-966 - Rein - $5
                    Lower Radiator/Water Hose - 11-53-1-718-980 - Rein - $6.50

Ordered this stuff on a Monday at 2pm EST and this stuff was at my door the next day before I got home from work. Apparently half of it was dropshipped from the manufacturer so they made it over crazy quick.

The above covers most of the water hoses as well as some heater hoses. I would also replace the breather hose on the valve cover while you're at it
