Need some advice on my son's car - 86 eta M20 auto
Starts up cold in the morning. Sometimes a bit of a stall problem when not warmed up - we suspect the cold start injector isn't working. Takes a while to warm up so it doesn't stall when you let off the gas.
Sits in the sun all day - low 90s temp. When he starts it up in the late afternoon, it stalls right away, or when it starts and you give it some gas and let off, it stalls.
Oddly, when he gets home and now the engine is hot, it starts right back up just fine.
We've replaced the ICV, all the intake rubber, checked for leaks, new used ECU, rebuilt injectors, adjusted valves, new plugs, sensors, etc.
