Map for Miller WAR chip with M20B28

    Hi all,

    Greetings from England :)

I've recently bought myself a second hand WAR chip for my M20B28 which I need to start messing around with to try and get a decent map sorted for the summer (or the closest thing our miserable weather gives us to a summer anyway!).

All of the stroker maps that I can see are for engines with the 19# injectors (imperial system - agggh!) and the MAF sensors.

I've still got the standard injectors (which I can/will upgrade if needed), but I've also got the AFM too. This works fine at the moment, but the map is running a bit rich, and it sounds like a V8 drag car at cold idle (which is pretty cool, but not the best thing in the world for crawling in traffic). I'd like to clean up the fuelling, but it would be nice to have a decent starting point.

So, two questions I guess: does anyone have a WAR map for a 2.8 with stock injectors/AFM? (It's got a 272/272 Schrick cam, standard TB, standard exhaust, 9.4:1 pistons.)

Secondly, does anyone know if there's a difference when tuning with the MAF and the AFM? Or is the Miller MAF set up to report values within the same range as the standard AFM?

    Cheers!

I believe the Miller MAF has a different values because it has a resister added to through people off but do not quote me on that because I have no experience tuning. Just what I have seen posted around.

Thanks - it also makes sense (and I should have thought of this first!), but all their MAFs are supplied with a new chip. If they used the same values as the AFM, then it stands to reason they wouldn't need the chip :)
