    M20B25 blown head?

Ok so im new to r3vlimited and to be fair ive never been part of any forum at all, so to my issue. I was joining the highway, second gear at about 4k rpm and my engine made a sound that reminds of letting the pressure out of a tire but louder. My engine shut down (I pressed in the clutch when I reliased something was wrong) First i thought that the timing belt snapped, but it was still intact and the engine was turning over. So Im wondering if its possible that the timing belt skipped 1 or more teeth? I opened the valve cover but im not really sure what to look after. Atleast no rocker arms were broken. I know the only way to be sure is to open up the engien and look but I dont have a garage anymore and i really cant work on my car on the street. Any advice? Oh and the engine cranked over after this happened but when i now (2 weeks later) went to look at it more it didnt crank over anymore

Sounds silly, but see if your ICV popped off the throttle body.
