After getting a new battery, and performing a code test, I pass with flying colors....until I get on the street and slam the pedal to the floor.
My E30 has greentop E36 injectors. I've adjusted the variable fuel pressure regulator I installed to account for the #/fuel pressure difference and the car idles nice and smooth (after putting in a new throttle position sensor).
Anyway, I am getting an EGO heater code and my fuse #9 blows. I will be trying the relay swap with the fuel pump and also taking the O2 sensor out of my other E30 and seeing if that changes anything. The current 02 sensor was a Frankenstein unit I soldered with a Mustang 5.0 sensor.
QUESTION: Any idea if what might be my issue?
