1991 325 fuel return problem

Before I installed a new fuel pump I was trying to use a fuel pressure tester to diagnose my fuel problem. Long story short I had full fuel pressure in the return line. Using some compressed air I found that I dont have any clogs up to the tank, but the nipple on the bottom of the tank seems to be clogged. Has anyone had any experience with this before?

So all of the lines were free up to where the return re-enters the tank, I tried more compressed air and it definitely seems blocked. Am i missing something or is this not the correct hose/ supposed to have a check valve in it?

No check valve, it's just a hose.
