    M20 distributor rotor.

So I am going to do all of the belts and hoses water pump etc. and I get to going to take off the distributor cap and 2 of those 3mm hex screws stripped out. This happen to anyone else, and how did you end up getting them out?

    Thanks

"delicately" bust the rotor and use vice-grips on the screws.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Gotta #1 screw extractor from Home Depot, not just gotta get some more of those lovely little $3 screws for when I pull the old stripped ones out tomorrow.

Personally, I would cut a slot in them with a cut off wheel and use a standard screwdriver.

i duno if u pulled the radiator before attempting this feat... but pulling it takes a few minutes, but really clears up a lot of room. allowing you to get a "better" angle at the screw for removal.
