    Unflooding a m20.

    I tryed pulling the fuel pump realy and cranking it. That did not work. Any other ideas to unflood the m20?

      I don't think you can "flood" a car with FI. What exactly is the problem?
      If you have a lot of gas pumped into the cylinders you may want to check your oil and make sure it doesn't smell like fuel. And if your plugs got really wet you might take them out and wipe them dry.

              ok spark and fuel is there but I feel that the motoris flooded it reaks of gas when trying to start. I have no idea what to do. fucking a this motor a pain

                  Pull out the plugs and crank it over with the fuel pump relay out. You will probably need to get a new set of plugs. I have found plugs don't work for shit once they are drenched...

                      Hmm these plugs look fine nothing black on em or anything ok i guess ill try new plugs.

                          Ether (start fluid) will wick away fuel from the plugs. Our cars are smart enough to usually not flood unless there is a spark or air issue.

                          Are you sure you dont have a fuel pressure/delivery issue? If you have a cracked fuel hose there is your smell & it could also screw up your delivery because you dont have enough pressure to properly deliver fuel to the motor.... just a thought

                              Exactly what they have said. Take the plugs out (and fuel pump fuse/relay), and crank it over for a little bit. Then let it sit for a couple hours if you can (with the plugs out). Then crank it over again with the plugs out and see if it still smells like gas. If not, put em back in, replace fuse/relay and see if it starts.

                                          LOL yeah on my old fc i never had to do it but i only had the t2 for like 1 week on the road. My friends n/a one though we do it every once in a while.
