    89i into 87e

I have been serching around, but just wanted to see if I can get a clear answer to this question. I have an 87e and I am getting an 89i m20. I have the wiring for the 89, as well as everthing else.

What wiring problems are I looking at here? I am under the impression that the only spot where there will be problems are at the big round plug where the fuse box screws into the engine harness (right next to the booster). This is because they have a slightly different plug and or pin configuration. Is this correct? Has anyone done a simmilar swap?

Also, while you are here. I have only driven one m20b25 e30 a while ago. What are the "seat of the pants" differences in the two motors? I know the b25 will be faster, just how much compaired?

    Thanks.
