Going to be having some work done to my car soon, hopefully, and in conjuction with a JC chip I was thinking about trying to swap some components from a 325i like the intake manifold, and TB onto my eta engine because I've heard it really frees things up. I sort of have a general idea of what I would do, but would like to hear exactly what are all the parts I need. I'm kind of confused about what I would do with the ICV, do I have to get one from a 325i?

I'm a noob at this so I could be WAAAAAYyYYY off the mark here... BUT
I believe that all you need is the ICV and throttle body. I'm not sure if there is a difference between the is and eta intake manifolds. To do the swap it's pretty easy - make your car look like an IS car. You'll need the IS intake boot from the MAF to the TB, the ICV and all the little hoses, etc. Just grab everything you can from the IS car and put it all on your eta.

325i intake manifold's runners are a LOT bigger than an etas. Youll need a 325i TB, ICV, and intake boot. There is a hose that comes off the side of the TB as well that goes to the valve cover, if the one on your eta is on the firewall side of the TB, youll need that too.

I have everything to do this as well!. Has anyone on here done this that can vouch for a difference in performance? Also, Do we need to do anything with the fuel injection to compensate for the additional air? I already have a Jim Conforti chip. Is this enough? Any advise will be great. Thanks!** Lot's of M20 turbo parts for sale.**

i'm concerned, do you lose some low end torque with this swap?
And to reiterate the question above, is it a bit overkill swapping these parts over onto a stock eta head? Will it run too lean?
