jingling when i put it in 2nd??

so there is this weird jingle noise coming from the shifter when i put it in 2nd. what could it be? bent shift fork? something much worse than that?

jingle? like bells? or more of a grinding noise?

Could be the shift rod hitting the vibration dampener

no grinds, car still shifts perfect

just an annoying/worrysome jingle. like bells kind of.

Make sure your shift tower mounts are in good shape, when those start going you can get some very strange symptoms... ~$9.50 each and pretty easy to replace.
