what is this?

I have been noticing some leakage from this senson that goes into the engine block. I've been looking in Real OEM to try an search for it but no luck. Can someone name this part and tell me if there is a replacement seal for it? or do i have to replace the whole sensor?



it is the little set of wires comming out. also you can notice a littel pudle of oil dripping form it.

Thats the oil pressure switch .

Sometimes they fail and leak right through the sender itself .

But there is a sealing washer with it as well ....spray it down with some break cleaner and see if its leaking from underneath or of the whole thing is leaking .

Either way a new replacement is cheap enough .
