    Ticking m20...

I went to check out a 90 325i today which had a few problems including loud ticking valves. I've never owned a 325i before, just an e awhile ago and a 318is. Would the ticking most likely be the valves out of adjustment or is there something I should be looking for? Thanks.
The grilles really distract you from the fact that someone took a sledgehammer to the front end.

Valve tick is so common on M20s. I did a valve adjustment on mine and the ticking was the same lol.

Do a valve adjustment and see what's up for maintenance's sake. The ticking might get a bit more quiet, but it's an M20 lol... learn to appreciate the tick ;)

I thought so, just wanted to check with some m20 veterans. Do the stock 4 door 325i 's come with a 3.73?

For the most part... 90-91 automatics (and some 89s) had 4.10s
