e28 plugs are not the same ;) they physically are different. also early 318 plugs have less wires, they don't have the oil level sensor wires at all.

Damn, this is exactly what I've been looking for over at bfc. I bought the engine side of a 318i and the harness side of an '86 eta. But I'm installing an '89 i motor. I guess I'll have to make sure the eta plug matches the i plug. I'm taking them into work tonight and splicing them up.Comment
