    what thermostat for mark d chip?

    I bought my chip used and am wondering if it is designed to run with a certain temp. thermostat?
    m20, 93 octane, 17.5 lb injectors, 173 ecu

        I know this but many aftermarket chips are designed to run at certain engine temps to maximize performance/ minimize knock. This is my first e30 chip and I didn't (still don't) know if it is designed to run at a certain temp. I would like to run a cooler than stock thermostat - will this be a problem with a mark D chip?
