    Idle issue

ok so i just replaced the spark plugs and fuel filter on my 325IS. i did so because the engine was cutting out on me and it was trying to die at idle. now that is not happening but i am getting a very strange idle. when i come to a stop in neutral the tach bounces between 500 and 700 rpms about 3 times and then settles at 700ish. this happens every time. the car is not dying. suggestions?

No, he/she means the Idle Control Valve.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
