You will need tuned for 19lb injectors, I tried stock afm + 19lb and results were just as dismal. Very rich, needs a chip or adjustable FPR.

the car will run fine with 19lb injectors and the stock AFM, just get the appropriate chip. My car did not run rich after 1 week of driving, if your o2 sensor is in good condition you should be fine. By Wednesday I will be running a the Miller MAF with the miller 19lb injector chip and I'll report back with how the car runs. The M30 AFM will make the car run lean after the ECU is adjusted.

yea update all of us after your MAF.. and i wanted to make it the simplist possible....would i have to have a chip to run the 19lb injectors???? prbly a noob question..i just want to get it rite. and not have to dyno so many times.

I've been running 19lb injectors just by putting them in and driving, the ECU will adjust them and the car will drive just fine, and 19lb injector chip made the car run a little smoother, and adjust very quickly. the Miller maf is only $100 more than a Mark D chip and you get a chip and get to get rid of the stupid AFM.

No it does not, it runs too rich, fuel economy suffers greatly despite what the OBC says, I was getting 30+mpg accoring to it, but in reality my averages were around 16mpg. At sustained part throttle (highway) you will see CEL's pop up that disappear with either going on/off throttle. The ecu can not adjust properly for 19lbs, you need a chip if you want to use them. Until you post a dynosheet for a stock chip + 19lbs with AFR, stop spreading misinformation (the same misinformation that has been around for years, which I blindly followed )

This is what I tested at the dyno.
stock chip + stock afm + 19lbs, had been driving around for weeks, had a new O2. Had random CEL's with the cruise on or when idling for long periods of time, they went away when tapped the gas. I suspected that once again, the internet people didn't know what they were talking about and had a set of stock injectors serviced - Result - Very rich, very down on power. Very surprised.

Stock chip + m30 afm + 19lbs, Reset the ecu and ran it for a few minutes on the dyno, the AFR did improve slightly after a bit, but it was still way too rich, picked up 2hp and 0.2tq over stock afm.

Completely stock - Reset ecu again, Made good numbers, AFR was good, there is a reason the engineers specced certain parts for this engine. ;)
