    m20b27 to m20b25

    i have a 1985 325e and i would like to do a 2.5 swap. do i need to gather some parts for the swap or does it just plop right in. i have a 2.5 from an 88 is just sitting here waiting for me to do something with it.

    It's a very simple swap, I did it to my 85. The hardest part is the wiring and that's not hard at all.

      Yea, you'll need to look into the wiring because you have the old style square plug for your c101. The b25 harness uses a round plug. Other than that, its pretty simple.
