technical no start problem 91 vert

91 vert automatic m20. get up this morning no start.
get back this afternoon, go through my system diagnostic.....
narrow it down to the coil. here are the facts:
    - coil is only gettin 6 - 8 volts on the 15+ positive side
    - if i feed it 12 volts car starts
    - if i disconnect the ecm 15+ side shows 12 volts
    - ignition switch green wire has 12 volts at switch but if i disconnect c200 connector ( which is the one the switch harness connects to ), i get no continuity from c200 to the positive coil wire. which according to the etm scematics , ( which are so innaccurate )there should be continuity.
    - i disconnected my remote start, which is in the path of the green wire and all symtoms remain the same.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

sometimes with remote start installs a wire splitter connector is used that
joins one wire to an existing wire without cutting it. only fall back is that those are usually a source of high resistance in the long run.
I would start off checking that. if thats not it check for continuity to each wire in the that connector to the coil 15+ due to the inaccuracy of the wiring diagrams. if all else fails run a new wire off the ignition switch if you haven't already done so.
