    oil leak

I had a minor oil leak (annoyance level) that suddenly got worse on Friday. Tracked it down today to loose connections for the oil cooler. Anybody else seen this? The one closer to the radiator was the leak, and was finger-loose. Both connections were actually loose. Fixed now, and engine freshly degreased after all the blown oil, but I didn't expect this to be a problem area. Glad it was such an easy fix, and I guess any connection is liable to loosen after this many miles.

That's not an uncommon problem. Those hoses are o-ring sealed and there's a good chance that new o-rings are indicated. They are pretty cheap...
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
