    HELP/ my car is running like shit

    When I am at idle the car runs ok but smells rich. Some times the rpm's bob and the mpg fluxes back and forth. On the road the gas will be all the way down but the car will sputter and not want to go. It is almost like I am not getting fule. Sometimes at idle the car will act like it is going to stall out but than slowly goes back to idle speed. I replaced all the spark plugs, rotar and cap(DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM) I changes the AFM (DID NOT HELP) I hooked the car up to a computer at the gass station and it told me I have an O2 senser problem weather the o2 is bad or the wiering,(I JUST REPLACED THE o2 OVER THE WINTER). The exterior fule pump is making more noise then before but I think when those go they just die, so that is a posibility. I checked for vacume leak and my gadge is telling me there is no problem and I looked around for a vac leak and found none. Although when I pump the brake the car's idle starts to move dawn and the vac gadge heads to 0. NEW TODAY. I was backing out of the gradge and heard a clicking under the hood and the loud noise was coming from the cruse controle box. It was a loud rattle. SO WITH ALL MY PROBLEMS LISTED AND ALL THE THING I HAVE TRIED TO DO TO FIX IT IT IS UP TO YOU TO TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY CAR.

    Probably the ECM. I had those problems and many others. I replaced nearly every fuel system and electrical system related part and the problem didn't go away until I got a new ECM.

      take your icv out and clean it with simple green and a tooth brush..

      fyi, the ICV is that little pump that plugs in between your intake boot and your throttlebody.

        What is an ecm did you mean an ecu?????????

          I sounds like it is your fuel pump. It is making noise and you have no power when you open it up. It sounds like you aren't getting enough fuel pressure. You should measure your FP, but if your pump is whining louder, than it is on its way out/already toasted.
