    m20 wiring question-

    Cheers-

I'm well on my way to putting my engine back in the car, but I cant figure out what is going on with two wires.

I have no clue whats going on with the wiring system with an m20 motor... if it were an m50, i'd be all over it, but this has got me boggled.

They attach to one of the coolant temp sensors on one end, then spice in with the brown relay, and have two hoops. when I removed it, I labled the brown wire starter, and the black wire alternator. I don't have a clue how those wires could have reached the alternator and the starter at the same time though.

    Any insight?

    Thanks,
    Addis

    That's a bit strange.

The relay and socket looks like those used for the O2 sensor heater, fuel pump, and main relay. But those are all wired via the engine harness. And it looks like there are only two wires to the relay, which makes no sense.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
