well im taking the e28 528 head and taking it to get rebuilt for my e30. does anyone knows how to take the head off as in what parts and tools to use? because i would like to go to the junk yard with the right tools to make it easier on my self.

You got me confused.
528i head will not bolt on your engine.
528e head is more or less like eta head and you should not use on "i" engine.
