I need a fuel line/hose. part # not on realoem

My fuel line is leaking, the one that goes into the fuel rail from the hard line by the firewall.

only problem is; i called bmw parts, the guy couldn't figure it out. So I took a look on realoem.com, and the only line that shows up is to the fpr.

pelican has a variety of hoses available, but I'm not sure what the size is.

I need the line, its braided, runs into the fuel rail right by (but not to) the fpr. right by the t-stat housing. what is the size (or part number)

that would be the feed line (return goes to the fpr). I replaced all of them using bulk reel hose from advance, i'll look at the size when i get out of work. I just bought 10 feet and cut to length as needed with new clamps.

Any hose of the correct ID and rated for fuel injection service is fine for that hose. Measure the diameter of either hard line and get a couple of feet from an auto parts house.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

german hose actually has a slightly narrower inner diameter, if you buy generic hose from a random shop, it will eventually leak.

i think it was 1/4" aeroquip pushlock hose i used...meant for -4 pushlock fittings, but it worked fine with clamps. but I'm thinking that the pushlock hose will not last as long as the factory hoses, they tend to get stiff, not brittle but stiff after a period of time (2-3years?)

For some reason 7mm or 8mm comes to mind.

the ones I picked up fit quite tight on the hardline ends, and used mini t-bolt clamps. I don't see these leaking any time soon
