Rough idle and coolant trip on check panel...

Ok so i just bought my car from one of my friends and have noticed a few tweaks with it. First the idle is really rough when its cold. Once it has warmed up it is smooth but still a little high, around 1500 rpm. Also, the randomly while driving i notice CHECK flashing and its the coolant light that trips. I have checked the coolant levels when it is both hot and cold and they are fine. The last thing is when i take sharp corners in a spirited manner the brake fluid light pops up through the turn, then turns off shortly thereafter. It sometimes happens on hard acceleration also. I checked the fluid level and again it is fine. Any help is greatly appreciated as i'd like to fix these random things before i have to put the car away for the winter.

The brake fluid and coolant level issues could be bad sensors.

The rough cold idle and high hot idle could be a sticky/bad ICV or an intake leak.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

make sure your coolant-sensor wiring is good ( use test meter), or make sure the connectors are tight and no twisted or kinked wire.
